Get The Look: Aria Montgomery

Hey Girls!
This is look 2 in my Pretty Little Liar Series! If you want to check out my Get The Look post on Spencer the click here :)
Makeup & Hair
For Aria's makeup I would start off with your everyday foundation & any natural coloured blush.
Her eyes are doll like and she likes to use eyeliner to make them pop. I would use black liner on your top lash line and line your waterline half way (from the outer corner to the middle). She also has really voluminous lashes, use any volumizing mascara or fake lashes. Aria's eyebrows also frame her face, I would suggest filling them in to make them more bold. For shadow she tends to create neutral smokey eyes. Her lips vary. Sometimes she wears deep colours and other times neutral. I would use a berry lip stick because I notice that she wears that colour the most.
Here is a entire makeup tutorial from my favourite beauty guru, missglamorazzi :)
For hair it is usually down and has a loose curl. To get that look use a large barrel curler (1 inch and up). Her hair is also very shiny so I would suggest any shine product.
Outfit
Aria defiantly has a more edgy and unique way of dressing compared to the other girls. She is not afraid to try new pieces (like her neon yellow shoes in last weeks episode). She also likes to layer and accessorize. Aria tends to wear girly dresses and a leather jacket over it (her main statement piece).
Here are some clothes that I could see Aria wearing:
Hope you enjoyed and I will have Emily's look up next week! :)

Get the Look: Spencer Hastings

Hey Girls!
The Pretty Little Liar's season has just began so I thought it would be fun to do a get the look on all four. I will try to do one once a week starting with Spencer Hastings.
Makeup & Hair
Spencer has a very natural look. Her skin is bare and clean. I would suggest tinted mostrizer or a light foundation (like covergirl naturlux) and add blush. Her eyes are very neutral. I would suggest any champagne or light brown colours for the lid, you could also not use any shadow at all! For liner try a brown shadow or a black pencil liner (tightline and waterline). Next add your favourite mascara! For lips she usually wears a nude colour.
Her hair is usually down and has a bit of curl to it. I would suggest getting a 1 inch curling wand and curl your hair then brush it out. Doing this will give loose wavy curls.
Outfit
I really like Spencer's style. I think my style would be a mix between her and Hanna, so I usually get a lot of inspiration from them :)
I would describe her style as preppy, she also has a vintage feel to her outfits. She usually wears dresses, blazers, oxford flats. She has a very professional look, probably because fer family expects so much from her. I put together some clothes that I could see Spencer wearing:

I hope you enjoyed this post :) Have a great morning/afternoon/evening and I will talk to you later! <3

♥ Top 11 Beauty Products of 2011 ♥

Hey Girls!
2011 is over so it is time to do my top 11 beauty products of 2011! :) It was really hard to figure out what products I liked best but I think I narrowed it down!

MAC Blush in Mocha
This was my first ever blush from MAC. I got it as a present from my friend Martha. I am now obsessed with MAC blush, and I really want to try out some other ones! Anyway, it is a matte medium pink and really pretty.
Physicians Formula Happy Booster Translucent Powder
I got this product almost a year ago! It is this really cute powder that has hearts all over it. It has a really nice smell and it is suppose to boost your mood. It is really good for the winter where it's grey and cold outside.
MAC Magically Cool Liquid Powder
This is a loose powder I got from Mac in the summer. It's honestly the most amazing powder. It is made with 70% water and feels cold when you put it on. I used this all summer, just put it under some moisturizer and your good to go!
Covergirl Natureluxe Foundation
I obviously love this foundation because I blog about it all the time! I like how it is lightweight but gives great coverage. I am almost done it so I am trying out a new one but I might end up going back if I don't like it as much.
Maybelline One by One Mascara
I have tried a lot of mascara's this month and this is my favourite. I find that is lengthens and gives volume. It is always the one I reach for!
Covergirl Shimmering Sands Eye Shadow Pallet
I love the colours in this and I have used it a lot this year. It has dark, medium and a light brown. Perfect for a neutral eye!
MAC All That Glitters Eye Shadow
I haven't heard one person that doesn't like this eye shadow. It is a really pretty brown colour and can be used alone or in a look. MAC eye shadow's are also really good because they are extremely pigmented and wear for a long time. I find this is a great shadow to sweep on if I am running late or don't feel like doing my makeup.
MAC Lipstick in Lustre Marquise D'
This has been my favourite lipstick for the entire year! I have worn it almost everyday. It is limited edition (wonder woman collection) but you might be able to find it somewhere. It is a nude pink colour and perfect for everyday.
Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie
This colour is so pretty! It is a dark pink. I also love how it is a lip butter so it is moisturizing but the colour also shows up unlike other lip butters.
EOS Lip Balm
I was wanting an EOS lip balm for such a long time and when I found them I was so happy! First off I love the packaging, it looks like an egg and is so adorable! I also love the different scents they have and it is really moisturizing.
Justin Bieber Someday Perfume
I am in LOVE with this! I have been obsessed with it since the summer but I didn't get it until Christmas. Usually I don't like celebratory scents but this one smells so good! I have been wearing it everyday.

That was my top 11 beauty products of 2011!
And I just wanted to say thank-you for the 90 followers! I never thought I would get so many!! I just want to let you know when I get to 100 followers I will be having a giveaway! :D

What was your favourite beauty product of 2011?

Get The Look: Hit The Lights

Selena Gomez's new music video Hit The Lights came out a while ago.
I am in love with the song, her outfits (can I really just steal them? they are so cute!) and makeup! I have been playing around to try to get the look from this video. This is what I can up with:

Makeup
1) Apply your normal foundation.
2) Put concealer under your eyes and anywhere there is redness (On a side note, my favourite concealer maybelline dream mouse is being discontinued! Its the saddest this ever!!)
3) Apply any setting powder with a big fluffy brush.
4) Smile and apply some pink blush! :)
5) Apply a light brown eye shadow all over your lid going three fourths up (towards your brow).
6) Get a medium brown shadow (in between the light and the darkest brown you use) and put it on the outer half of the lid, blend it with the other colour (if you don't have a blending brush your finger always works).
7) Get a darker colour of brown and put it in the outer corner and blend it into your crease.
8) In the very outer corner get a black colour and put a little bit on the outter edge and draw a little line it towards your brow. This will create that wing Selena has in her video.
9) Use your finger to soften the shadows and add a highlight colour under your brow.
10) Apply eye liner to your top and bottom waterline. Also curl your lashes and apply mascara.
11) Her lips are a bright pink. MAC's Show Orchid is a hot pink lip stick, I think it fits this look really well! Any lipstick that is a bright/hot pink you have will work for this :)

Hair
She has a million different hairstyles in this! It really depends on you! You can have it curly, straight, up in a pony or colour extensions! :) If you are straightening it I suggest parting it in the middle.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and here is the music video if your interested in seeing it!

Halloween: Mad Hatter Costume & Makeup

The Mad Hatter "Have I gone mad?" Alice "I am afraid so, your entirely bonkers. But I will tell you a secret. All the best people are."

Today I am going to be doing a Mad Hatter Halloween tutorial! It is based on the Disney movie with Johnny Depp. I am pretty excited for this one because the mad hatter has always been my favourite character in Alice In Wonderland!

Costume
You can use a lot of things around your house for this (like seeking into your Dad's closet), or go to your local thrift store. I suggest finding a really fun printed scarf and tying it into a bow for a bow tie (if you don't know how to tie a bow tie I suggest googling it). The two key components to this costume is the coat and the hat (of course!). If you find a basic top hat tie some ribbon around it and put a piece of paper on it that says: 10/6. Go crazy with this costume, you are mad of course! Go nuts with the colours, try suspenders, have a scarf coming out of your pocket. You can wear a dress or pants and a blouse. You can always carry around a cup of tea as well :) Also try looking at local Halloween stores for the actual costume, because finding the parts to it might be hard!

Makeup
Here is the makeup your trying to re-create.

Face
Start off with some white face paint. You can probably find some from any local Halloween store.
Next add so bush but apply it so it shows off your check bones.

Eyes
There are a lot of blue and pinky red eye shadows. Apply any blue eye shadow to your lid and up to your brow. Then apply a pink to half of your bottom lid and add a darker shade in the middle and a grey on the outer. The blend it out with a blending blush. It looks like he is wearing a white mascara, but sadly that can be hard to find! Instead try some white eyeliner. Then add your favourite mascara. You can find some mad hatter eye brows at a Halloween store. I thought they were the coolest thing ever!

Lips
I would suggest a rose red lipstick. I suggest Girl About Town from Mac or a colour like that.

So that is my Mad Hatter Halloween tutorial. If you want to see any other Halloween tutorials let me know. I am going to be doing a Minnie Mouse Halloween tutorial this weekend :) I just have to finish it the costume!

Also, I am wondering if you can do my friend a favour :) She has entered a scholarship contest but needs people to vote for her essay! So all you do is scroll down and enter your email! It will take 2 minutes and it will mean so much! Here is the link: http://www.crosslites.com/scholarship.aspx/Essay/e6d08459ea188e29a90c6f0eb93cb9d5

How To Clean Your Brushes!

Hey everyone! So today I am going to tell you how to clean your brushes! You should do this every week or every 2 weeks. So lets get started:

Step 1: Take your brushes and run them under warm water.

Step 2: Take makeup cleanser, or baby shampoo or if you don't have any of those normal shampoo for you hair can work. So work the cleanser into a light lather (make sure all the bristles have soap on them)

Step 3: Rise out all the cleanser/shampoo. Sometimes you can see the old makeup getting rinsed away. Do thins until there is no colour/soap coming off the brush.

Step 4: Air dry them. I like to put mine on a towel or something :)

Ta Da!!! Now you have freshly cleaned brushes!

How To Organize Your Makeup!

Organizing makeup can be a lot of work, but also fun! :) I am going to go through how I organize mine and hopefully it can help you guys 2!

Go Through Your Makeup
I did an entire post on this so please go check it out! Click here to see it :)

Get Some Storage Bins!
This will help you organize more than you think! Mine is 5 drawers (2 small and 3 big).
You can get tons of different sizes and wheels in the bottom. You could get the smaller drawers, whatever will works best for you! I also like to put my makeup into little containers in the drawer so it doesn't get all mixed up!
Lets go over how I keep mine organized :)
Top Drawer (small)
This is where I like to keep the makeup. Each > is going to mean a little basket :)
> All of my lip products! Like lip glosses, lip chap and lip sticks!
> Any face powders. Like brownzer, powder foundation, cooling powder, ect.
> Any liquid foundations and tinted moisturizers. I also have a liquid highlight so that goes in there.
> Blushes.
> Eye shadows (not pallets).
> Mascara and Eye liner
If you don't have enough space with all the containers I would put it in the second drawer and sorta move everything around until you get it the way you like it (like the different products I will be talking about below).
Second Drawer (small)
This is my last smaller drawer, I keep brushes and all that stuff in it. So lets see whats inside! I do not use baskets for any of the other ones, except for brushes so > doesn't mean basket anymore :P But it could work if you did use containers.
> Brushes
> eye lash curler
> Perfume (small roll on or testers)
> Deodorant
> Any Lush stuff, like moisturizers
> Makeup remover, toner, cosmetic pads, Q-tips
Third Drawer (large)
This is where I keep everything nails!
> All my nail polish
> Nail polish remover
> Cosmetic pads but I only use them for nails.
> I have a container that has 2 mini drawers and i will tell you what I keep in that:
- cuticle remover/ cream
- nail stencils (like fore french manicures)
- nail clippers
- nail scissors (is that what they are called?)
- cuticle pusher
- nail correcter (like nail polish remover in a pen)
- french tip pen
- i have my extra nail strips if they are on my fingers
- nail file
- cuticle massage cream
Forth Drawer (large)
This is where I like to keep my hair products!
> Hair sprays
> Hair gel
> Mousse
> Smoothing Lotion
> Detangling Spray
> Heat protection spray
> Bobbie Pins, Hair elastics, ect.
> Curlers, Straightener (do not put them in there hot, if I use it I would just keep it on my desk and put it away when it completely cools down)
> Hair brush
Fifth (large)
> Moisturizer
> Body Spray
> Eye shadow pallets
> Travel makeup bag and brush roll

On top of my storage container I have my MAC fixed+ because I use it everyday, but if I didn't it would go into the second drawer.

That is how I like to organize my makeup & more. So I hope this was helpful to you and talk to you tomorrow (ON MY BIRTHDAY, I AM SO EXCITEDDDD) :)

Hair & Makeup Trends for Fall 2011!

So, with fall around the corner (gonna miss summer). I thought doing hair and makeup trends would be a good idea! Lets start with makeup and then move into hair!

MAKEUP
SPIDER LASHES
Big thick lashes are in for fall! They are called spider lashes because they are suppose to look like spider legs (a bit creepy) . To get this look just apply your favourite mascara like normal, now take the mascara and close your lid and go down and up (like from your lid to the end of your lashes). Doing this gives your lashes a spider look.

METALLIC EYES
Metallic eye shadows are in! To get this look take a silver eye shadow and put it all over you lid, how easy is that! :)

RED LIPS
Red lips are one of the lip colours that are in this year! Rock this look by applying a red lip liner and some red lipstick, or just the lipstick if you are running late! :) (also try adding some gloss)

Taylor Swift always knows how to pull off a red lip!

PASTEL LIPS
I am so happy pastel lips are in this fall! It is a great colour to wear to school and you can also use the lipstick as a blush.

HAIR
BRAIDS
Braids are very popular this fall. From a basic braid to a waterfall braid they are easy to dress up and down! I am planing on doing a bunch of tutorials on doing different braids and different looks with them so keep checking my blog out to see when it is posted! :)

MESSY BUNS
Messy buns are in for fall, and I love this look! But it can be hard to master. I would suggest making your hair wavy first or loosely curling it and twisting it into a bun.
WAVES
Waves are also in this upcoming season! I will also have some tutorials up on how to get this look.

So thats all and I hope you enjoyed this post, comment below and let my know what your favourite fall trend is! And I will talk to you guys tomorrow! :)
