My Fall Shopping List!

So next weekend is the last weekend of summer. I have to say I was really sad to see summer go, but now I am really excited for fall! I am planning on doing a fall/winter look book at the end of October (like in the 20s). That is because H&M is finally opening in my town! I am so excited, it is a bit crazy. Anywho these are clothes that I am looking to buy. I won't buy all of them but it would be nice, lol. So I am going to get into my list! And everything on my list is tops & shoes and some random things because I have all the pants I need. If I were to get one more pair it would be leggings from lululemon. Plus I am working from left to right!
Tops
-The first top I have on my list is a cable knit sweater. Now I love these sweaters sosososo much! Like if I could only wear one type of top for the entire season it would be cable knit sweaters. Anyways they are very cozy and super warm for when it gets cold (not really looking forward to that). This is in white and I would like to have a plain colour one that way it can match anything. And I would pair this with leggings (or skinny jeans) and riding boots. It is from H&M
-This is also a cable knit sweater, but this one is green! I would get one of them over sized because I know that is a trend for fall. I also think the look is really cute <3 It is also form H&M
-Next is a brown and black stripped top. I saw missglamorazzi wearing a shirt like this in one of her videos and I really want it because it looks so cute! This one is form H&M
-Next is the blouse that I used in a blog post from before and I have fell in love with it! I really hope I can find it. But it is shorter in the front and longer in the back. I love the look of it and again it is from H&M.
-So then is a sweater dress. These are in for fall and they remind me a lot of the cable knit sweaters. I think it would be really cute with some tights. It is from H&M (surprise!)
-Next is this white tank top and it has some lace and then fringe on the bottom. I think a cardigan (especially the one to the right) would to soo cute with it! It is from H&M I think...
- So next I saw this cardigan and I thought it was cool how it looked like a poncho and it had sorta tribal print to it, and I just love it! It also looks really warm and cozy. It is from H&M
- Now for a plaid top. I love plaid for fall (if you read my fall tag you will already know this). But I like the look of them and I want to get a bit of an over sized one because I think it would look adorable. Guess where this is from...if you said H&M your wrong! Haha it is from Levis!
- So last but not least is this sweater and it has stripes all over it and these cool pieces of fabric at the elbow and that is my favourite part! This is from H&M.

Shoes
- The first pair of shoes is riding boots! I have never had a pair but I have always really wanted one, so this year I am gonna get a pair! So I think these type of boots in fall is the cutest thing! I just really love them <333 These ones are from H&M.
- Next is a pair of slippers. I dont have a pair and I really want some! Plus the weather is getting colder so it will be cute to wear them and have warm pjs and hot chocolate when watching tv. These ones are from Forever 21.
- Next is a pair of moccasins. I also really love these shoes for fall and you can get some that are really warm inside! These ones are from American Eagle (but I have never seen them there so idk)

Accessories
- So first is an umbrella, because Fall means rain! And mine broke, so I need to get a new one.
- Next is just a black loop scarf, I think this one is made out of yarn or something. But it is from H&M.
- Then I just have a thin belt, I probably will get a braided one but I couldn't find one!
- Then is this really pretty bracelet! It has different fabric and it is braided and looks so cute! I really want it and it is from Forever 21.
- Finally I have a grey lace loop scarf, I love loop scarfs. And scarfs in general :P This one is from American Eagle.

So that is all. Most of the stuff is from H&M because that is where I am going to be doing most of my fall/winter shopping :) So that's everything! Colour Me Happy :)

This blog post is on what colours will look best on you! Like what colours will flatter your skin tone and bring out your eyes! :) A good way to figure this out is "by season" I will go through each season and who will fall into it and what colours will look best! 

Winter

Winter is a cool tone. People in this category have pinky undertones. Skin colour can be pale white, yellowish, and dark. Usually winters have dark brown hair and deep coloured eyes. 

The colours that you should wear is clear and sharp. Some colours include black, navy, and red. If you want lighter colours go with pinks, yellows and pale blue. 

Do not wear orange, gold and and beige. 

Spring

Spring is a warm tone. People in this category have peachy, or creamy white. Skin colour can be extreamly light and ivory. Usually springs have blondes, strawberry blondes, and auburn colour hair. Aslo they can have green or light coloured eyes. 

The colours that you should wear are pale and warm colours. For example aqua, golden yellow, peach, bright greens, reds, and clear blues. 

Do not wear black/white and dull colours. 

Summer

Summer is a cool tone like winters. People in this category have pinky undertones. Skin colour is very pale and pink. Usually summers have natural blonde hair and brunettes with pale skin. Summer and Winter can be very similar! Usually winters are brunettes and summers are natural blondes.  

The colours you should wear are muted and cool undertones. For example powder blue, dusty pink, lavender, and pale yellows. 

Do not wear black, orange, and earthy tones. 

Fall

Fall is a warm tone. People in this category have golden undertones in their skin. Usually autumns have red hair, brown, golden blonde and black hair. 

The colours that you should wear are golden, spicy and earthy tones. Look for a warm undertone, some exaples include beige, orange, gold, and dark brown.

Do not wear bright colours and black and white. 

Spring and fall are very similar. Springs tend to have pale eyes and Autumns have dark eyes.  

Of course you can wear any colours you want! :) And the season I am is Winter.

Clean Out Your Closet!

So school is just a few days away and you have probably bought some new clothes to add to your collection. You might notice that you closet is getting a bit full and crowed or you just want to give your closet one big cleaning! Well here are some of my tips for cleaning out your closet! 

trying to figure out what clothes to get rid of

So I find this the hardest part of organizing my clothes. This is what I usallaly ask myself when going through each piece of clothing:

- do I like it? If it is a yes, then keep it! :) 

- have I worn this in the past year? If you haven't worn it in a year then you probably won't wear it again

- does it fit me? Sometimes you out grow clothes and there is no point of keeping something if it doesn't fit

Don't throw out basic items (like plain t-shirts) because you can always add new accessories to give them a new look! 

what to do with the clothes you don't want anymore

This is my favourite part. You can organize a clothing swap with all your friends! This is a good idea to do before school because you and your friends can get some new clothes without paying a fortune! What you do it take all the clothes you don't like any more and your friends do the same and bring it to a friends house or yours. And you just swap your clothes! It is a lot of fun :) When your done and you have some extra clothes that no one wants I would donate them. This way they go to someone who is going to wear them and enjoy having them. 

how to organize

It is good to organize your closet because when you are trying to get ready you don't wanna spend 5 minutes trying to find a top, it is more easier when you know where it is. Personally I like to organize my clothes by what type they are. Like hoodies, long sleeve tops, t-shirts, tanks, dresses, ect.  But I know some people like to go by colour. It really depends on what works for you. 

just a few more tips
During the school week I like to plan out what I am wearing the next day. I am the type of person that will try on on all of my clothes until I find something I like, and It is better for me to do that the night before than in the morning and end up being late. I have a part in my closet where I put the clothes that I am going to wear. That way when I wake up I know where they are and I don't waste a lot of time.
Go through your closet each season (like summer and winter) and put away your winter clothes or summer clothes. This way you have extra space and you don't really need shorts in your closet when its 30 below. I suggest getting one of those vacuum bags. Just fold up the clothes and put them under your bed. That way if you ever do need them it isn't that hard to unzip.

ROAD TRIP/THEME PARK FUN! :D

CANADA'S WONDERLAND?!

So guys, tomorrow I am going to Canada's Wonderland! (yayyy) If you dont know what it is, its a giant theme park with tons of roller coasters and rides! So this is whats gonna be in my bag and what I am wearing! :D  p.s there will not be a blog post tomorrow because i am not going to be home, sorry

~What I'm Wearing~

I am wearing jean shorts, tank top and a cardigan if it gets cold! :) Also everything I am wearing is from American Eagle...that was not planed (haha). Okay, so the first thing is normal jean shorts. This is because I don't want to wear a dress and have it fly up on the rides. Next I am wearing an undershirt that has lace on the top and the bottom. I am probably just going to be wearing this because its suppose to be hot! But if I get cold on the bus or there its good to have a light sweater in my bag :) So thats what I am wearing! 

~ What I am bringing for the bus ride~

Okay, so in my bag is stuff I am going to need at the theme park and some entertainment for the ride! 

My bag is Roxy and its pretty big, I got it a year ago but I still see it at stores so you could probably find it. I am going to do a whats in my bag blog, so I cant get into the details about it then :) 

- First thing I have is my keys, they have a cute giraffe on them that Martha got for me when she went to Kenya (go follow her blog! http://xpinkbeautylovex.blogspot.com/) 

- Next is my wallet, I just have my money and important cards in it 

- I then have a small container of Body Shop body butter

- I have my EOS lip balm in summer fruit 

- My ipod, I am probably going to be listening to music the entire time, and of course playing apps! But its really handy to have when your bored 

- I have a bunch of hair ties, this is because I might want to put my hair up during the ride 

- I have my clear lip gloss from maybelline and its in Minty Sheer 

- I have my sunglasses from Aldo, always good to have to protect your eyes from the sun!

- Next I have the newest edition of Seventeen 

- Finally I have a book, this one is Tan Lines from the series Beach Blondes (I will not be bringing this into the park with me) 

I will also be adding water and snacks in my bag but I am going to be dong that in the morning! I will also have my cell phone and a camera! :)
