What To Wear To A Pumpkin Patch Or Corn Maze :)

Hey Everyone! 

Here is what I suggest wearing when trying to find your way through a haunted corn maze or finding that perfect pumpkin to carve : ) 

Outfit

I would suggest a plaid shirt of course! They are totally in for fall and you can also get in a larger size so they are all cozy and warm! For pants I would wear black leggings. This is because they are basic, and will look really cute with an oversized shirt. For shoes I picked moccasins, they are cozy as slippers and look really cute! 

Accessories 

For accessories I would go for less is more. I picked a basic bracelet, I really love the Tiffany bracelets  even though I don't have one I really want one. Then I added a basic leather purse. They have some cute ones at H&M and they are not too expensive! I also added some mittens and a hat because it has been cold where I live so it is good to stay warm! 

Makeup

I would wear basic makeup. I would just have some foundation, blush, mascara and lip gloss :) For nails go for any fall colour, my favourite is lincoln park after dark by OPI. 

Also go to starbucks before and get one of their many fall drinks :) Like pumpkin spice latte, yum! 

So that is what I would wear to go pumpkin picking or when I go to a corn maze! :)

How To: Make the Perfect Cup of Hot Chocolate

Nothing is better than on a rainy cold day than a warm blanket, a good book and a yummy cup hot chocolate! Here are some different hot cocoa recipes & toppings! :) 

Hot Chocolate

Basic Drink

For a basic drink you are going to need:

- a mug

- cocoa powder (available at most grocery shores)

- milk

This is the non-homemade version. So what you do is fill your mug with milk and put it in the microwave (for around a minute). When the milk is warm put in the powered and stir. 

From Scratch 

I have never made hot chocolate before so I got this recipe from this website http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Hot-Chocolate

So what you are going to need is:

- chocolate block (like backers chocolate) you can also use white chocolate

- milk

Chop up your chocolate finely. On the stove heat up your milk (on a low-medium setting). Put in your finely chopped chocolate while the milk is heating up. Whisk it until the chocolate is completely mixed with the milk (if you think it is going to burn turn down the heat or remove the element). You can add cinnamon or anything else you want at this point. Pour into a mug. 

Nutella Hot Chocolate

This has a lot of the same steps as the homemade hot chocolate. I got this recipe from this site http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Nutella-Hot-Chocolate

What you are going to need:

- nutella

- 1 cup of milk 

Put 1/4 cup of the milk into a pot on low-medium heat. Add 2 or more spoons of nutella in the pot. Stir until it is all melted and blended. Pour the rest of the milk into the pot. Stir until it becomes frothy. Pour into a mug. 

Toppings

You can add a lot to your hot chocolate to make it taste yummy! Here are some topping ideas:

- Marshmallows 

- Whipped Cream with Sprinkles or Cocoa Powder 

- Candy Cane

- Marshmallow cream

- Mint, Vanilla, ect. 

- Chocolate Spoons

- Cinnamon Sticks

My Fall Shopping List!

So next weekend is the last weekend of summer. I have to say I was really sad to see summer go, but now I am really excited for fall! I am planning on doing a fall/winter look book at the end of October (like in the 20s). That is because H&M is finally opening in my town! I am so excited, it is a bit crazy. Anywho these are clothes that I am looking to buy. I won't buy all of them but it would be nice, lol. So I am going to get into my list! And everything on my list is tops & shoes and some random things because I have all the pants I need. If I were to get one more pair it would be leggings from lululemon. Plus I am working from left to right!
Tops
-The first top I have on my list is a cable knit sweater. Now I love these sweaters sosososo much! Like if I could only wear one type of top for the entire season it would be cable knit sweaters. Anyways they are very cozy and super warm for when it gets cold (not really looking forward to that). This is in white and I would like to have a plain colour one that way it can match anything. And I would pair this with leggings (or skinny jeans) and riding boots. It is from H&M
-This is also a cable knit sweater, but this one is green! I would get one of them over sized because I know that is a trend for fall. I also think the look is really cute <3 It is also form H&M
-Next is a brown and black stripped top. I saw missglamorazzi wearing a shirt like this in one of her videos and I really want it because it looks so cute! This one is form H&M
-Next is the blouse that I used in a blog post from before and I have fell in love with it! I really hope I can find it. But it is shorter in the front and longer in the back. I love the look of it and again it is from H&M.
-So then is a sweater dress. These are in for fall and they remind me a lot of the cable knit sweaters. I think it would be really cute with some tights. It is from H&M (surprise!)
-Next is this white tank top and it has some lace and then fringe on the bottom. I think a cardigan (especially the one to the right) would to soo cute with it! It is from H&M I think...
- So next I saw this cardigan and I thought it was cool how it looked like a poncho and it had sorta tribal print to it, and I just love it! It also looks really warm and cozy. It is from H&M
- Now for a plaid top. I love plaid for fall (if you read my fall tag you will already know this). But I like the look of them and I want to get a bit of an over sized one because I think it would look adorable. Guess where this is from...if you said H&M your wrong! Haha it is from Levis!
- So last but not least is this sweater and it has stripes all over it and these cool pieces of fabric at the elbow and that is my favourite part! This is from H&M.

Shoes
- The first pair of shoes is riding boots! I have never had a pair but I have always really wanted one, so this year I am gonna get a pair! So I think these type of boots in fall is the cutest thing! I just really love them <333 These ones are from H&M.
- Next is a pair of slippers. I dont have a pair and I really want some! Plus the weather is getting colder so it will be cute to wear them and have warm pjs and hot chocolate when watching tv. These ones are from Forever 21.
- Next is a pair of moccasins. I also really love these shoes for fall and you can get some that are really warm inside! These ones are from American Eagle (but I have never seen them there so idk)

Accessories
- So first is an umbrella, because Fall means rain! And mine broke, so I need to get a new one.
- Next is just a black loop scarf, I think this one is made out of yarn or something. But it is from H&M.
- Then I just have a thin belt, I probably will get a braided one but I couldn't find one!
- Then is this really pretty bracelet! It has different fabric and it is braided and looks so cute! I really want it and it is from Forever 21.
- Finally I have a grey lace loop scarf, I love loop scarfs. And scarfs in general :P This one is from American Eagle.

So that is all. Most of the stuff is from H&M because that is where I am going to be doing most of my fall/winter shopping :) So that's everything! Beauty & Fashion:

1) Top 5 fall makeup items?

Tricky question, I haven't been fall makeup shopping so I probably will have products that you have read about before...naturelux foundation, shimmering sands by covergirl, waterproof eyeliner (or any eyeliner), le gloss by loreal (golden splash) and Lustre Marquise D' from MAC (wonder woman collection). I am on the hunt for a good eye pallet with neutral colours. So once I get that it will be on my list 2! :)  

2) Favorite Fall hair product?

Probably my heat protection spray. This is because I have been curling and straightening my hair more so it is getting a lot more use! 

3) Favorite Fall Nail Polish?

Anything more dark. I like the new Essie collection that is coming out, but I don't have a favourite yet. 

4) Favorite Fall scent?

Do I wear this sent? If so, then my Paris spray from Bath and Body works. If not then anything that smells like apples, leaves, and pumpkins. I love fall scents! 

5) Most worn clothing item & accessory?

Scarfs and Plaid Shirts! I wonder if plaid shirts are so popular in the fall because scarecrows wear them, OH a scarecrow Halloween costume would be so cute! Haha, you could have a crow on your shoulder like pirates have parrots. Okay, I am getting totally off subject. 

Random Fall Questions!:

1) Who's your Fall Style icon?

I don't really have an icon. I look what different people are wearing and try to take all of their styles. Is this making sense? Haha

2) Going to a corn maze, what do you wear?

Jeggins and a loose plaid shirt. For shoes any fall boot. I am so excited to go to the corn maze! 

3) Favorite Halloween movie?

Well, this is hard to pick. Ummm...I really love goosebumps. It was like a horror story for kids in the 90s (idk if you remember, i am not that old right?) Well this show makes me feel like a kid again! :)

4) Favorite Halloween candy?

Plain chocolate bars. I am sorta really picky with candy. Like I hate mars, candy corn, the list goes on and on! I wish I liked candy corn, it looks yummy :P

5) What are you being for Halloween?!

KATY PERRY! I am so excited for this costume it is going to be really super rad! Or a vampire, this is sorta a hard choice! I think I am going to watch a ton of Halloween tutorials online and figure out what ones I like best! :)
